Tom Brady opens up about ‘intense stress’ but doesn’t mention Gisele Bundchen amid divorce rumours

Tom Brady has been candid about the “intense stress” he faces, but oddly stopped mentioning his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen amid divorce rumors on the latest episode of his SiriusXM podcast.

In fact, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has spoken about his parents and children on the show, but has yet to mention his spouse in three episodes as reports of a possible split continue to circulate.

“Everybody has different situations, you know, in their lives and their kids, and you’re concerned about their mental health,” Brady told co-host Jim Gray, who was inquiring about the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s mental health . “You worry about your parents, obviously about yourself. You know, I think I’ve had to learn a lot of things in sports over a long period of time.

“I think there’s a lot of stress that we all deal with, and how do you manage stress so that you don’t cause yourself as much damage through some kind of stress response?”

Meanwhile, Bundchen was spotted Wednesday visiting her spiritual healer in Miami for the second time this month amid her alleged friction with Brady.

Bundchen, 42, and Brady, 45, have reportedly hired divorce attorneys 13 years after saying “yes” in 2009, according to multiple reports. The supermodel, who hasn’t attended a Bucs game this season, took the lead in hiring an attorney, and the NFL star followed as he “figures out what to do,” according to People.

Some have speculated that the issue involves Brady’s decision to return to the NFL after a brief offseason hiatus, and Bundchen has made it clear that she sacrificed herself for her family and his career.

“I’ve done my part, that is [to] be there for [Tom]’ she told Elle magazine. “I moved to Boston and focused on creating a cocoon and loving environment for my children to grow up in and support him and his dreams.

“To see my children succeed and become the beautiful little people they are, to see him succeed and be fulfilled in his career – that makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job with it.

“I have a huge list of things I need to do, things I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected to my purpose,” Bundchen said.

On his podcast, Brady emphasized the importance of work-life balance without mentioning his wife.

“And I think there was a part of us where we felt like, you know, soak it up and deal with it,” Brady said. “And I think you realize there’s a lot, especially in this day and age, with the speed at which things are happening for all of us and with the amount of responsibility that we have.

“And also, I think part of us is bound to a certain standard, that we’re almost inhuman,” he continued. “You know, that’s a lot you hear from people saying, ‘I’m only human.’ We are only human. We are not inhuman. We are not immune to many things that life throws at us. We are not robots.

“You wake up every day trying to do your best, to understand that life has its stresses and to deal with a great support system and understanding and some introspective in your life where you can look at yourself and say where Do I have to invest my time and energy?

“And how can I take some of the stress off and lighten the load on me so I can be good to the people around me? So these are all different things you are working on. I worked for them when I was 20. There were a lot of things I went through when I was 20. There were a lot of things I went through in my 30s.

Brady then added, “There are things I go through in my 40s,” but again failed to mention his wife or any reported marital issues.

“And it’s life,” Brady said. “And you learn to grow up and you learn to deal with life. And we all try. We try to make it as good as possible.”

Rumors have been swirling for the past few weeks that the two are living apart after an epic battle and are now contemplating how to split their multi-million dollar empire.

“I don’t think there will be a comeback now. They both have lawyers and are evaluating what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be like,” an anonymous source told Page Six.

Legal experts are speculating that Brady and Bundchen would file in Florida, where they are primarily based after a decade in Boston.

Another source told the Post that the couple is considering how to split their $26 million real estate portfolio.

Most recently, the couple bought a $17 million home on Indian Creek Island in Miami, an area jokingly dubbed the “Billionaires’ Bunker.”

Since rumors of tensions between the two first surfaced, multiple reports have claimed that Brady’s decision to change his retirement earlier this year was the catalyst to their marital troubles.

He’d initially partially stopped focusing on his family – when he vowed to spend more time with them as Gisele “deserves what she needs from me as a husband and my children deserve what they need from me as a father.” .
