Rugby league pundits lose it as Brisbane Broncos NRL legend Gorden Tallis falls asleep live on air

Queensland legend Gorden Tallis fell asleep on the panel just before FoxLeague’s post-game show called Curtains – with the rampaging bull being called out by Michael Ennis in a hilarious on-air blunder.

Following the Rabbitohs’ dominant 38-12 semifinals win over Cronulla, the FoxLeague post-game panel discussed Cameron Murray’s player of the game.

“The space he creates on the outside, we’ve talked enough about him,” said Michael Ennis.

“He was great…” he continued and started to burst out laughing.

“Are we alive? I just woke up Gorden!’

Presenter Braith Anasta and colleague Corey Parker were left baffled by the embarrassment on live TV.

“Dude, I’m old, I’m almost 50,” Tallis said.

“Can you attend a press conference earlier for your fans, what do you do?”

Anasta finished the finale footy show while Ennis and Parker laughed throughout the outro.

Tallis is signed to FoxLeague as a Key Analyst where he appears on The Late Show with Matty Johns and Queenslanders Only.

The former Maroons skipper is regularly nurtured by his peers on The Matty Johns Show.

Earlier this year, the formidable second rower was forced into a jet flight for a top-gun solitary promotion, where he was taken down a high-G-turn path that visibly hurt the legend.

Tallis also works for the Titans as a club ambassador, an unpaid role advising coaches and players.

The father-of-three called the Broncos roster “soft” during coach Walter’s blow-up fiasco when Brisbane players felt hurt by the verbal slam.
