Kylian Mbappe has been named the fastest player in FIFA 23, due out later this month.
The French superstar, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain from Ligue 1, has been awarded a PAC score of 97.
That puts him at the top of the potential list, ahead of Wolves striker Adama Traore and Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.
FIFA has released their individual player stats for the new version of the game, which will be available at the end of the month.
Mbappe was awarded a PAC score of 97. The PAC score takes into account the player’s sprint speed and acceleration.
Therefore, the value associated with the player reflects how fast he is when he is on the pitch.
FIFA has named Mbappe the fastest player. Wolves striker Traore is second with a 96 PAC score while Vinicius Jr was awarded a 95 score.
Leeds United’s Daniel James and Union Berlin’s Sheraldo Becker were also awarded a score of 95.
While Watford star Ismaila Sarr and Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies have been phased out at 94.
Mbappe, who stars on the cover of the game alongside Chelsea striker Sam Kerr, is also among the players with the highest initial rating.
The French superstar is already rated 91 in the EA Sports game, but could grow into a 95-rated player with the right progression as the season progresses.
That puts him at the top of the potential list, ahead of City forward Erling Haaland, who could turn a 94, and Barcelona starlet Pedri, who could turn a 93.
There’s a three-way tie for fourth place, with Phil Foden, Vinicius Junior and PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma all having 92s with the right gameplay.
The remaining ten future stars include Kai Havertz, Jude Bellingham, Florian Wirtz and Dusan Vlahovic.
