Jose Mourinho stars in new Stormzy music video ‘Mel Made Me Do It’

Jose Mourinho stars in Stormzy’s latest music video.

In the British rapper’s latest single “Mel Made Me Do It”, the current Roma boss makes a brief cameo and even recites some lyrics, albeit not verbatim.

The 59-year-old can be seen halfway through the 10-minute video standing in a villa with Stormzy and several others, crossing his arms before raising his finger to his lips.

‘You like to talk about the old days, men are as old as Annie, are you alright? I prefer not to speak like I’m Jose,” Stormzy wrote before Mourinho iconic quote “I prefer not to speak. If I speak, I will get into big trouble.

Mourinho posted about the video on his Instagram page, sharing a photo of himself next to Stormzy with the caption: “It was great fun doing this cameo for Stormzy’s new music video out today. I had a nice time.’

Athletics stars Usain Bolt and Dina Asher-Smith also appear at various points in the video in a star-studded film that came out after the London-born rapper went on hiatus.

Mourinho’s cameo comes on the back of the Portugal boss, claiming he hasn’t trained for many years.

Recent years have been less fruitful for the ‘special’ compared to the rest of his career as he has just one Conference League title to his name in the last five seasons in management after winning a host of titles across Europe.

While admitting that retirement isn’t too far away, Mourinho has revealed it will be a few more years before retirement is even considered.

“These 22 years have passed quickly, but I want to continue,” Mourinho said at the 2022 Quinas de Ouro event.

“I feel good, I feel strong, motivated, I like winning, I hate losing, nothing has changed.

“The color of my hair, yes, even the wrinkles, but I want to move on.

“Not for another 22 years, there’s no time, but for a few more years.”
