Former England striker Gabby Agbonlahor reckons only three of Argentina’s players would make England’s top eleven.
Argentina was one of the favorites on the road to the World Cup but got off to a disastrous start, losing 2-1 to Saudi Arabia.
England, meanwhile, got off to a perfect start with a 6-2 win over Iran.

Gareth Southgate’s squad is packed with quality and, having watched both teams, Agbonglahor believes a combined eleven would be predominantly English players.
“Some of my friends said, ‘They (Argentina) are going to win this world,'” he told talkSPORT.
“They were the second favorite after Brazil. I watch them play and I think Romero looked poor, Otamendi looked poor.
“I look at their team and I’m like Lisandro Martinez at centre-back, Martinez in goal and Messi maybe coming in England’s XI.
“Apart from them, the midfield looked bad, Di Maria didn’t look good. Alavrez come on and didn’t look good. Everyone says Argentina but I don’t think they have a chance to win this World Cup.
