Will Mellor playfully posed with two pints of lager and a packet of chips on a recent night out, making a playful nod to the BBC sitcom of the same name, in which he starred.
The Strictly contestant, 46, left his hotel Thursday night after nine hours of dance rehearsals for Saturday night’s show with his professional partner Nancy Xu.
The actor was in his element with a pint in each hand and chips between his teeth as he playfully referenced his decade-long sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, in which he starred as Gaz Wilkinson.
Will looked relaxed in his smart casual attire as he swapped the fake tan and Strictly Ballroom glitter for a white tee, blue jeans and immaculate Nike Air trainers.
Will could easily have been mistaken for his Two Pints character Gaz as he juggled two full pint glasses while getting some fresh air.
The decade-long sitcom show made Will famous alongside co-star Sheridan Smith in 2001 when they followed the lives of five friends in the northern town of Runcorn.
This year, the TV star swapped Runcorn for Elstree studios when Will signed on for Strictly Come Dancing.
Will was a popular character at the weekly dance competition as his electric hips wowed the nation and left judge Motsi Mabuse “speechless”.
Last Saturday, the former Coronation Street actor topped the standings at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom as Will and Nancy’s samba gave them a combined score of 35.
In early November, Will revealed that he had collapsed during one of his dance routines while dancing to his late father’s favorite song.
Speaking on Loose Women, the actor admitted, “I couldn’t get through the routine without crying.” The Strictly star lost his father Bill in 2020, just two weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer.
Will explained, “He’s one of the reasons I do Strictly. I want to embrace life and embrace it.”
