Tyler Baltierra Defends Himself Amid ‘Crazy As Hell’ Sweatpants Scandal

“Teen Mom” star Tyler Baltierra defended himself after posting photos of himself on a farm with his daughters. The Michigan resident thought the photos — taken by his wife, Catelynn Lowell — were “healthy” and didn’t expect the response he got from fans, who accused him of not wearing underwear during the outing.

Lowell was the first to break her silence.

“You REALLY think Tyler is just balling?!” she said, according to screenshots posted to Reddit. “Then you would be SHOCKED to see if he was real. You are all crazy.”

Lowell joked that there was a business opportunity in her husband’s future if he was interested.

“That’s right, keep staring and zooming in, but ayyyeee that’s what awaits me every night,” she said. “Maybe you should start an OnlyFans.”

Baltierra was next to break his silence. He couldn’t believe fans were looking between his legs.

“I didn’t even realize anything until I saw all these comments this morning,” he wrote via Instagram, per Teen Mom Chatter. “People are crazy as hell! Like what am I supposed to do with a damn athletic cup walking around!? Lol I’m sorry everyone but I’m a guy and I was born the same way. I’ll make sure I try to hide it somewhere next time.’

In his original post, Baltierra posted three photos of himself with his two daughters – 7-year-old Nova and 3-year-old Vaeda – feeding baby carrots to ponies.

“I feel very grateful and blessed to be able to make memories with my babies! 😍🙏🏻❤️”, he wrote with the images.

Baltierra seemed to take the criticism to heart until someone suggested he put the photos on purpose for attention.

“No way, like are you really now?” he said to a fan, according to screenshots obtained by Teen Mom Chatter. “My WIFE is the one who took all these amazing pictures of me and my kids and I was excited to post them (like a lot of normal parents get when they enjoy time with their kids.”

Baltierra said his sole intention was to show off a “healthy” day with his family and fans made the situation “something it isn’t”.

Baltierra wanted people to think about how the conversation could be different from the photo that fans sexualized of a woman’s body – not a man’s.

“Let’s say (for example): A mom posts a picture of her and her kids on a beach and people hyperfocus online on her body parts (breasts or butt, etc.),” he suggested. “Then, when she finds it uncomfortable, a man tells her that her unwanted/unwanted attention is actually ‘deliberate’ because she’s ‘bringing it out’.”

Baltierra said such a reaction would not be tolerated.

“I bet you’d get a very different kind of reaction from people, that’s for sure,” he said. “I just can’t believe we’re having this discussion at all tbh smh.”
