Tom Parker’s widow, Kelsey, is dating an electrician

The widow of tragic pop star Tom Parker has sought solace in a new man as she comes to terms with life without Tom, MailOnline has learned.

Mum-of-two Kelsey Parker, 32, has been mourning the loss of her husband, The Wanted star Tom, since he lost him to cancer eight months ago and recently admitted life alone has been “tough”.

But friends are happy the actress Kelsey is happy and in the early stages of a relationship with electrician Sean Boggans, 39, having recently met him.

“It’s very early days and no one knows what the future will bring, but right now Kelsey is happy that someone else has come into her life,” a source said.

Kelsey and Sean, a father of two, are said to have met when she was on a break with friends in Lindos, Rhodes, in September.

More recently, Kelsey attended the wedding of a member of Sean’s family in Kent and the couple were clearly affectionate with one another.

Sean recently split from his children’s mother, but there was no crossover with Kelsey.

MailOnline understands he has a positive relationship with his former partner and has regular access to their children.

In a recent interview on the television show Loose Women, Kelsey spoke poignantly about the void the loss of Tom had left in her life while her daughter Aurelia Rose, three, and son Bodhi, two, slept.

“The evenings are so hard,” she said. “Because the kids go to bed and then I’m alone and that’s the time you talk to your partner, you kick and you talk and I don’t have that anymore.”

Kelsey frequently posts about Tom on social media and makes a conscious effort to keep his memory alive in the minds of her young children, with a special Father’s Day post on Instagram in June, although she admitted: “Father’s Day is going to be tough. ‘

Earlier this month, she took part in a grueling five-day trek across the Sahara desert to raise funds for a breast cancer awareness charity.

The group embarked on this extreme challenge on November 12, trekking more than 10 hours each day through the unforgiving landscapes of Morocco to reach 100 km.

Kelsey was joined by Vicky Pattison, Giovanna Fletcher and Pete Wicks, who worked for CoppaFeel! wanted to hike 100 km through the Sahara for five days.

Speaking of the grueling CoppaTrek! Adventure, Kelsey candidly said she needed to “focus” after a challenging year.

“I’ve never done anything like this before, but it’s just the challenge I need to focus after a very difficult year,” she said in a statement.

“The thought of being part of a team full of inspiring people who have also been through extremely tough times and tackling this challenge together drives my training program.”

Tom died of stage four glioblastoma brain cancer at the age of 33.

He was diagnosed with the disease in October 2020 and was given 12 months to live by doctors and died on March 30, 2022.

Next month, Kelsey is set to host an ITV documentary exploring her grief and following her life since Tom’s death.

Kelsey will share an insight into her grieving journey while raising her children in the documentary.

Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom will be seen allowing cameras into her home to follow her very personal journey with sadness as she hopes to connect with people in similar situations, including other famous faces.

From household names speaking about their own personal experiences of grief to fellow young widows and grief experts, Kelsey’s journey will mark important milestones for her and her family without Tom.

In the six-part ITVBe series, Kelsey tries death cafes, grief yoga and other loss-coping methods, and explores her loss as she tries to rebuild her life without her husband.
