supernatural has gone back in time. The new series The Winchesters tells the story of how John Winchester (Drake Rodger) met Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly). Enter Jensen Ackles The Winchesters as Dean Winchester, who tells his parents’ story. So that’s her story, but that was important to Ackles The Winchesters keep a quality of supernatural.
Ackles was at a press conference for The Winchesters on October 4th. Here is the solid line he was trying to draw supernatural and The Winchesters. The Winchesters airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester battle demons together. But, Ackles said the heart of supernatural was the brotherhood.

“[The Winchesters is] I’m certainly trying to reclaim this heart that I’m feeling supernatural really had,” Ackles said. “At the end of the day, the show was about the relationship between these two brothers. You could draw as many ghosts and demons and vampires and ghouls on that canvas as you wanted, but at the end of the day it really depended on the relationship these two guys had. And how they fought, not just for the common good, but for each other.”
A romantic relationship is a little different, although they eventually become a family. Ackles compared John and Mary’s relationship in The Winchesters to the heart of supernatural.
“I felt like we could do that with John and Mary, but also that love story is the kicker, I just felt like that’s really important. That is something [showrunner] Robbi [thompson] and Dannel [Ackles] and I’ve talked at length about making sure this really has the heart that a show needs. That you can bring all the bells and whistles to it, but it has to have that relationship and it has to have that cast of characters that you really want to see week after week.”
The Winchesters also introduces new characters to the world of John and Mary. John has a mother, Millie (Bianca Kajlich). They hunt demons with Carlos (Jojo Fleites) and Latika (Nida Khurshid) and do research with bookstore owner Ada (Demetria McKinney).
“I feel like we have that and we’re doing that,” Ackles said. “The people in front of you now, I keep coming back and want to watch them. I’ll keep reading carefully in the next story arena and want to know what’s going to happen. What will happen to Carlos? I do not know. He surprises me every week. you surprise me It’s just madness. I love it.”
