John chose Jazmine Sullivan as his advisor, so it was only fitting that he assigned one of her songs, “Bust Your Windows,” to Valerie Harding and Dia Malai. This made Dia a little nervous, but Jazmine said she seemed to “walk a little harder” because of the nervousness. She suggested that Dia channel her inner “Catwoman” with a growl. John encouraged Valerie to sing more. After the vigorous fight between Dia and Valerie, it became clear that no one should mess with these two. But still, John had to choose one. The other coaches preferred Dia and John said she took his advice well. He also praised Valerie’s “Electricity” and was so thrilled that he named her the winner.

Gwen brought together teenage best friends Jillian Jordyn and Rowan Grace in Lauren Spencer-Smith’s Fingers Crossed. At rehearsals, the trainer said Jillian “blew her mind” with her emotions and praised Rowan’s ability to make the song her own. She also suggested some body language improvements. Meanwhile, Gwen’s advisor Sean Paul urged the young singers to “get into the role.” Rowan and Jillian gave it their all on the big stage, making it difficult for the coaches to make up their minds. Gwen noticed some nervousness in Jillian’s voice but said she later recovered. She also complimented Rowan’s taste. In the end, Gwen Rowan named the winner.

Camila brought together Nashville singers Morgan Myles and Steven McMorran for Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball. Though it was a bold song choice, the trainer said she thought Morgan and Steven could belt out the tune and show their emotions. Camila noted how “connected” Morgan was to her feelings. Her aide, Charlie Puth, said the rehearsal gave him “leg shivers.” Camila later said the song was meant to “make people feel the feelings.”

Morgan and Steven’s fight left the trainers in awe. John said Morgan had a “fire tone” and she reminded him of someone who would sing at the Grammys. Meanwhile, Blake said she resembles Bonnie Tyler. Camila said she needed to work more with Steven to help him “bring down the house.” She eventually named Morgan the winner. But it’s not over for Steven: Camila used her only save to keep him on her team.

“I see something in Steven that I want others to see,” she said.
