The Instagram model involved in Adam Levine’s cheating scandal says drones were flying around her family home to get pictures of her.
Sumner Stroh, the 23-year-old who has publicly claimed to have had an affair with the married Maroon 5 frontman, has been making headlines all week after her TikTok video of the alleged affair went viral.
Now it looks like someone is trying to take photos of the model at home using drones.
“To the 5+ drones surrounding my family home at 4am, you won’t get any pictures of me because 1) I’m in Costa Rica, 2) I don’t live there,” Stroh shared in his story. Instagram on Thursday night.
“You are wasting your time and your money. Get some sleep.”
It’s unclear who sent these apparent drones to spy on Stroh, but his Instagram following skyrocketed amid his DM drama with Levine.
According to Social Blade, a public database that tracks social media statistics, Stroh gained 42,528 Instagram followers on Tuesday.
For comparison, in the days leading up to the news, she gained 582 subscribers on Monday, lost 34 on Sunday, gained 182 on Saturday and only two on Friday.
On Monday, Stroh posted a TikTok about his alleged affair with the musician.
“At the time, I was young, I was naive and, quite frankly, I felt taken advantage of,” Stroh said in the clip uploaded Monday, which quickly racked up 20 million views.
“I wasn’t in the ‘scene’ like I am now so I was very easily manipulated,” she added, while sharing screenshots of their alleged conversations.
After the initial media storm, Levine finally responded to the allegations and admitted that he “crossed the line”.
“I’ve been talked about a lot lately and I want to clear things up,” the 43-year-old singer wrote on an Instagram story. “I have shown poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife about ANY kind of flirtation.
“I didn’t have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during an unfortunate time in my life. In some cases, it became inappropriate; I addressed this and took proactive steps to address it with my family,” he wrote.
“My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. Being naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could have made. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. We’ll get through this. And we’ll get through this together,” Levine wrote.
Five other women have now said the Maroon 5 frontman sent them inappropriate messages.
Levine has been married to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo since 2014, and they share two daughters, Dusty Rose, who just turned 6, and Gio Grace, 4. Prinsloo, 34, is pregnant with their third child.
Meanwhile, a famous divorce lawyer has told Prinsloo to hold her head up high as the world scrutinizes her husband.
