Sumner Stroh appeared to slam Adam Levine after the singer broke his silence over cheating rumors.
The Instagram model, 23, accused the Maroon 5 frontman, 43, of having a year-long affair with her in a TikTok video that has now gone viral.
“At the time, I was young, I was naive and, quite frankly, I felt taken advantage of,” Stroh said in the clip posted Monday, which has since racked up more than 20 million views.
“I wasn’t in the ‘scene’ like I am now so I was very easily manipulated,” she added, while sharing screenshots of their alleged conversations.
Stroh said she had no intention of coming forward, but felt compelled to tell her story after a friend she thought she could trust allegedly tried to sell the screenshots to a tabloid.
Levine has been married to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo since 2014, after the pair met through a mutual friend in 2012.
They share two daughters together, Dusty Rose, who turns 6 on Wednesday, and Gio Grace, 4, and Prinsloo, 34, are pregnant with their third child.
In Stroh’s initial post, she also claimed that Levine reached out to her after “months” of not speaking to ask permission to name her third baby after her.
“Okay serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy, I really want to call him Sumner. Are you okay with that? DEATH seriously,” read a screenshot purportedly of Levine.
On Tuesday, Levine opened up about the accusations surrounding him with a lengthy statement posted via his Instagram Story.
“I’ve been talked about a lot lately and I want to clear things up,” he wrote. “I showed poor judgment by speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY flirtatious way. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line for an unfortunate period of my life.”
The voice the coach wrote: “In some cases it has become inappropriate; I have addressed this issue and taken proactive steps to address it with my family. My wife and my family are all I care about in this world.
“To be so naive and stupid enough to risk that the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I’ll never do it again. I take full responsibility. We’ll get through this. And we’ll get through this together.”
Stroh apparently responded to her statement on her own Instagram Story. “Someone get this man a dictionary,” she said.
Pleasemynews contacted Levine’s rep for comment.
In April 2022, Prinsloo opened up about her husband in an interview with The Zoe report. “We’re best friends and we have similar interests,” she said. “We try to put ourselves first. So we spend time alone, but the kids are crazy!”
Back in 2019, the Namibian native told Net-A-Porter HOLDER Edit‘s magazine that their first meeting was “love at first sight”.
