Strictly Come Dancing 2022: Claudia Winkleman Jokes She’s ‘Pregnant’ After VERY Flirty Exchange

Strictly Come Dancing’s Claudia Winkleman was left hot under the collar during Friday’s launch show, joking that she was “pregnant,” rather flirtatious exchanges with dancer Carlos Gu on the show.

The 50-year-old presenter made the cheeky remark after Carlos demonstrated his rhumba skills, leaving her struggling to calm down.

Carlos, who is making his debut at this year’s Strictly as part of the professional cast, tried to demonstrate to Claudia why he loves rumba so much, leaving the star to find her words during his impromptu performance.

‘Rumba [is my favourite]…when you touch you feel the sensuality,” he said as he pulled her close as they sat on the couch.

“Look at me, darling,” he added, making her blush.

‘Do you feel that? Now let it go!’

“I suppose I’m pregnant. Thanks,” she joked.

“I did everything wrong with the rumba, it’s obviously not just standing,” she said, laughing.

The Strictly Come Dancing pairings were announced on Friday’s pre-taped launch show, which was pushed back from its previous broadcast date due to the Queen’s funeral.

The much-anticipated launch show was originally scheduled to air on September 17, but was postponed as it came just two days before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, which took place on September 19.

For the first time in Strictly history, there will be two same-sex pairings in one series, with reigning champion Giovanni taking to the dance floor with DJ Richie Anderson.

Elsewhere, Helen Skelton is set to take the stage with Gorka Marquez after being added to the show at the last minute, while Katya Jones teams up with footballer Tony Adams.

Other stars set to appear in the final season include comedian Ellie Taylor and Coronation Street star Kym Marsh.
