Roxy Jacenko has always been a huge fan of Kim Kardashian.
And now her mom, Doreen, has taken inspiration from Kim and her ex-husband, Kanye West, for the $7.8 million home she’s building across the street from her daughter’s $6.6 million Vaucluse mansion.
Doreen said her state-of-the-art, four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is an “architectural masterpiece.”
Designed by esteemed Sydney architect William Smart, mock-up images of the mansion reveal the home will feature an all-white exterior, daring angular shafts, splayed terraces and gently rounded edges.
“The architecture will be light, airy and layered,” Doreen told Nine.
“It’s a home that will be sculptural, functional and relaxed in both aesthetics and design.”
Doreen’s palatial new space will also feature a pool, gym, media room and study area.
Doreen explained that a spiral staircase will connect all levels of the multi-story facility.
She said the architects were careful to incorporate “sustainability measures” into the design.
These include photovoltaic panels that convert sunlight into electricity, rainwater collection and double-glazed windows.
Doreen has hired her Sydney daughter’s favorite interior designer, Blainey North, to complete the look of the home she hopes to complete in two years.
The new mansion will replace the $5 million Vaucluse cottage that Doreen bought in 2021.
Doreen and ex-husband Nick have built a lucrative empire in Australia’s rag trade during their 38-year marriage.
The Jacenko estate is believed to have comprised a cluster of commercial properties in Sydney’s Beaconsfield, Alexandria and Ultimo, each worth around $15-20 million.
The couple, who divorced in 2011, sold a collection of investment properties held in their name for a whopping $78 million last year.
