Máxima and Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands are currently on a state visit to Sweden. On the day of arrival there was a glamorous reception with magnificent looks.
On Monday evening, the Swedish royal family received their royal guests from the Netherlands, König
William Alexander and Queen Máxima, at a state banquet at the Stockholm Palace. The women all wore elegant robes in intense colors.
While the Swedish royal ladies opted for monochromatic dresses, Queen Máxima chose a colorful patterned dress with pink as the base tone. Floral motifs were emblazoned on the asymmetrically cut dress and a kind of floor-length cloak fell on her right arm. A blue headband and sparkling tiara were a must. The 51-year-old completed her look with a small clutch, the color of which harmonized perfectly with her dress.
Royal Swedish women were no less charming. Queen Silvia wore a bright pink dress with long sleeves, Crown Princess Victoria also chose an asymmetrical cut dress and a huge fabric flower on the right shoulder. Their color: a deep purple. Her sister-in-law, Princess Sophia, showed off in an equally large dress. Designed symmetrically and with long sleeves. The three Swedes also wore sashes and crowns. The headdresses of the last two royalty harmonized particularly well with their respective robes.
