Together, Prince William and the Princess hosted a radio show. The reason for this is a heart problem for the royal couple.
Prince William and Princess Kate have tried their hand at hosting a radio show, drawing attention to the topic of mental health
directed to health.
“You can live your normal life in a minute and then something huge changes and you realize you don’t necessarily have the tools or the experience to deal with it,” William told BBC Newsbeat. This is exactly what he moderated this Tuesday along with his wife Kate. The 40-year-old had to deal with the sudden death of his mother Diana at the age of 15, which is probably the basis of his claim.
“If we can’t take care of ourselves, then we can’t face the challenges and problems we face every day,” said the heir to the throne. Kate added that taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. “Just like we go to the gym, we also need to take care of our soul and cherish it,” she said in an interview with subject matter experts.
The reason for the action of the Princess and the Prince of Wales was World Mental Health Day on 10 October. The show, conducted by the couple, is aimed at young adults.
Prince William and Princess Kate have been committed to educating people about mental health and helping people with depression for years. In 2016, for example, they launched the Heads Together initiative to eliminate the stigma surrounding the problem and encourage those affected to seek help.
