Post Malone Tells Fans ‘It’s Alright’ After Fall, He’ll Continue Touring

Post Malone may have fallen during a show in St. Louis over the weekend, but he’s not letting his bruised ribs hold him back. The musician has since reassured worried fans that he intends to continue with his current tour.

The “White Iverson” rapper-singer thanked the St. Louis attendees for “supporting [his] Dumb ass” in a video posted to Twitter. He went on to explain that he fell because of a “big asshole” that appeared on stage in the middle of the acoustic portion of his set, where his guitar and sound guitar stand stand.

“I turned around the corner and broke my ass and it kind of pissed me off, it made me pretty good,” the Grammy-nominated musician said in the Video. “We just got back from the hospital, and everything is fine. Everything is fine. They gave me painkillers and everything so we could keep kicking ass on the tour.”

Although Posty continued the set for several songs before heading to the hospital, according to NME, he apologized to St. Louis fans in the video. He also promised to do a two-hour show the next time he’s in town to catch up on some missed songs.

Video of the bad fall circulated on social media over the weekend, with fans and fellow musicians wishing him a speedy recovery.

the Los Angeles Times notes that the spill came after Malone sang a verse from his 2019 “Circles” banger: “I feel like it’s time to let it go.” The rapper tried to turn and go up the stage but fell hard when he entered the wide hole with his right foot.

After landing on the floor face down, Malone turned to lie on his back and was quickly surrounded by stage technicians dressed in black.

Following rumors that the 27-year-old had broken several ribs, Malone’s team posted a clarification on social media.

Dre London, Malone’s manager, wrote on Instagram on Sunday that X-rays of the artist’s ribs revealed that they were only bruised.

“In true Posty style, loving his fans, he finished the show!” writes the director. “I really don’t know any artists like him. Talking to him a few hours ago, he was still saying that Dre isn’t doing too badly with them”, further explaining that “the show must go on! Let’s all keep it in our thoughts because we know he will wake up in pain.”

Several titans of the entertainment industry sent good vibes to Malone via the London Post. DJ Tiësto wrote that Malone is “strong” and scream actor David Arquette commented with three red heart emojis.

Malone is currently on tour in support of his latest album, The Introspective Twelve karat toothache, which was released earlier this summer to mixed reviews. The offer debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

Pleasemynews has contacted representatives for Malone for comment.
