Post Malone stunned his fans on Saturday night in St. Louis, Missouri when he had a nasty accident on stage.
The 27-year-old singer was mid-show at the Enterprise Center when he stepped into an uncovered opening during Circles’ performance.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Billboard Music Award winner walked down an extended ramp on the arena floor, apparently not realizing that the square hole into which his guitar was lowered was uncovered.
The burial caused him to bang his chest against the sharp edge of the opening.
Paramedics rushed to his aid and helped him off the stage as the worried crowd cheered.
As he left, the wow artist spoke into the mic and asked the audience to give him a few minutes to come back.
He came back about 15 minutes later, holding his ribs while continuing with an abbreviated set that began with Rockstar and Cooperated Up with his support act Roddy Ricch.
The star continued to hold her ribs as he thanked the crowd for their patience and explained that there was a huge hole on the stage.
He apologized again to the crowd and even managed a few more songs – Sunflower, Congratulations and White Iverson – before closing the show, although the multi-talent stayed on stage to sign a few autographs.
No further information was released about the condition of Post.
The chart topper is in the middle of his Twelve Carat Tour.
It’s unclear if Post can appear on the show, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 18 in Columbus, Ohio.
