Peter Andre has revealed he has plans to relocate to Australia with his wife Emily and their children as his mother Thea’s health is deteriorating.
The 49-year-old singer opened up about his plans to move for as “long as possible” if they move over in December once he has completed his work commitments in the UK.
However, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker revealed he’s struggling to arrange the trip due to his children’s school arrangements.
Peter has two children with his ex-wife, Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, and Amelia, eight, and Theo, five, with wife Emily MacDonagh.
He revealed the “entire family” will be making the trip Down Under.
Write in his new! Speaking to the magazine, Peter said: “If all goes according to plan it will be December and we will all be heading to Oz as a family.
“We want to get out as soon as possible and stay as long as possible, but with the children’s school it’s difficult.”
“They have different timings, which makes it complicated.”
Last week, Peter admitted he finds it hard to see his elderly mother “suffer and decay” as age takes its toll.
He said he was “sad” his mother Thea, 86, is “struggling” as she gets older now that her health is deteriorating.
The TV personality explained he hopes to spend “as much time as possible” with his mum and dad Savvas, 89, and enjoy every moment with his relatives.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker recently holidayed in Cyprus with his parents, having previously traveled to Australia to spend time with them.
He explained in his new! Magazine column: “My parents celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary last week. 67 years! It’s pretty amazing. Dad will be 90 next year and mom 86.
“Mum is struggling at the moment. She is not feeling well. She suffers a little and loses weight. It’s sad when they’ve been together for so long that age overwhelms them.
“I was with her a few months ago. We just need to be with her as much as possible. It’s just age. She’s got all sorts of things going on now.’
Last week on his Instagram account, Peter said he was “sad that age is taking its toll” as he shared a sweet snap of himself with them.
He wrote: “Happy 67th wedding anniversary mom and dad. I love you both with all my heart. I feel happy and sad to post this.
Happy of course they have reached 67 years of marriage together but sad that age is taking its toll and especially the mother is really struggling.
“I always pray for your health, both of you. I also pray that I can be even half the parent to my children that you two are to me.’
