Peter Andre has revealed he had to convince his eldest children, Junior and Princess, that they were “naturally beautiful”.
The 49-year-old singer explained that he recently posted a photo of the couple who they “loved” but believed had been edited.
He then had to explain to his 17-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter that the picture had not been altered.
In his new magazine column he wrote: “I recently shared a picture of Princess and Junior at the opening night of Tulley’s Shocktober Fest. They both said they loved the photo and asked me what I did to make it look like that!’
“I had to explain to them that they look amazing and are naturally beautiful children. It was actually pretty cute.
Peter, who shares Princess and Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price, added: “I thought unfortunately a lot of people don’t realize how beautiful they are.”
It comes after Princess spent a day with her dad and his wife Emily on Monday, during which she looked just like her famous mum.
She showed off her natural beauty as she smiled for a family photo at Hamleys Toy Shop in London.
With her curly blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, Princess was the spitting image of Katie in an instant.
Princess wore her long tresses in a half up half down style and was wrapped up warm in a gray hoodie and padded jacket.
In addition to Princess and Andre, Peter also has a daughter Amelia (8) and son Theo (5) with Emily.
The family enjoyed a Halloween tea party complete with pumpkins, cupcakes and party hats.
Former glamor model Katie is also mom to Harvey, 19, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke, along with Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven, with ex Kieran Hayler.
Peter recently shared that he’s worried his daughter Princess is growing up too fast, admitting, “You don’t want to let her go too fast.”
Speaking to The Sun, he explained: “It’s hard because you’re so strict as a parent, but over time you start to let go of the reins a little bit. You don’t want to let her go too fast.’
He also explained that the likelihood of the blonde teenager doing a reality show like Love Island is definitely out of the question, but he may not have as much to say over time.
“I don’t even know the words Love Island. Those two words don’t go together in my house,” he joked.
Continuing to say, “Listen, I can say whatever I want now that she’s only 15. When she turns 18, I might not have a say.”
Peter’s comments come after Princess took to Instagram to share a photo of herself before heading to a wedding, sporting a glamorous look.
When she opted for a wider range of makeup than usual, many took to the comments to voice their opinions, telling Princess she “didn’t need it”.
And when faced with a flurry of backlash, the teen herself explained the comments, writing: “All those comments about makeup 😂 it was a wedding. But I appreciate that people are nice.
Princess’ mother Katie Price has previously received backlash for also sharing heavily made-up and filtered pictures of her daughter.
But after admitting that wearing makeup was always her own choice, Princess was forced to defend that choice multiple times.
