The 48-year-old actress stunned in a baby pink tweed blazer and matching mini skirt for the day, which took place at the city’s Kursaal.
She beams proudly with the prize in both hands, which was awarded to her by the Spanish Ministry of Culture for her cinematic work.
Penélope’s suit featured gray thread trim along the hem and collar, and a button-down detail.
She paired the vintage Chanel-esque number with open-toed black shoes – which slightly increased her height with a black heel.
To add to the sparkle, the actress added statement Chanel pearl earrings to match her outfit.
Penélope had pulled her chocolate curls out of her face in a half ponytail while the rest fell into a soft curl.
While she added a glamorous makeup palette with a winged smokey eye to highlight her glowing complexion.
The Spanish Ministry of Culture awarded the Spanish National Film Prize to the actress, who has more Oscar nominations than any other Spanish actor or actress, which she has received.
In recognition of her many accomplishments, the organization also recognized her thirteen Goya nominations – three of which she won.
Penélope has spent time at the 70th annual film festival promoting her new film thriller drama On The Fringe.
On The Fringe is a film about family, love and solidarity that connects the stories of three different characters as they each embark on life-changing journeys in a race against the clock for 24 hours.
The actress stars in the film, also called En los Márgenes, alongside Spanish actor Luis Tosar.
