Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh got into a screaming match on the set of Don’t Worry Darling

Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh reportedly got into a “screaming match” while filming Don’t Worry Darling, as the director often disappeared with boyfriend Harry Styles, according to a report.

Though Wilde, 38, previously denied any animosity between herself and Pugh, 26, a new bombshell suggests otherwise, with sources telling Vulture tensions between the two stars reached a peak on set.

“Olivia and Harry would just disappear,” an insider claimed to the outlet.

The Booksmart director and Styles, 28, were first romantically linked in January 2021 after becoming close on the set of Don’t Worry Darling in September 2020.

According to an unnamed insider for the film, Pugh and Wilde clashed over Wild’s “frequent, unexplained absences” from set, leading to a “screaming match” between the two women.

The apparent feud between them came to light last month when Wilde referred to Pugh as “Miss Flo” and said she needed a “wake-up call” during the film’s rehearsal period, in a leaked video to actor Shia LaBeouf.

The report even claims that the argument between the two got so bad that it was taken to Warner Bros.’s then-most senior manager – Toby Emmerich – who has to play the peacemaker.

Emmerich reportedly facilitated a “long negotiation process” to ensure Pugh would stick with the project after filming was completed and ensure she would be there to promote it.

As previously reported, Pugh has significantly reduced her publicity duties on the film, appearing at the Venice premiere but little else – she recently skipped the New York premiere, an odd move for the leading lady.

They also did little to diffuse the drama in Venice, as it appears the handlers went to great lengths to tell both actresses apart during the photo op for the event.
