Mother of Nick Cannon’s ninth child says she wants ‘one more’

Lanisha Cole, the mother of Nick Cannon’s ninth child, shared in an Instagram post that she wanted to have “one more baby”.

Cannon, 42, whose growing offspring with multiple women has long been a talking point, announced via Instagram on Sept. 14 that he and model Cole, 40, have welcomed a daughter named Onyx Ice Cole Cannon.

“Introducing ONYX ICE COLE CANNON,” Cannon captioned a photo of her baby. “Once again today I am in awe of the divine feminine! God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of welcoming an angel here on earth. I swear to protect, provide, guide and love this child to the best of my ability.”

Nine days later, on September 23, Wild ‘n Out host Cannon welcomed son Rise Messiah Cannon with former Miss Universe contestant Brittany Bell, 34, the couple’s third child and 10th overall TV personality.

The arrival of Onyx and Rise marks a busy year for Cannon, who welcomed son Legendary Love in July with model Bre Tiesi, 31, and is expecting another baby with radio personality Abby De La Rosa, also 31 years old.

In the weeks since Onyx’s arrival, proud mother Cole shared several photos of her offspring, which she also did on Sunday with a tell-all caption.

“I need to have one more”, former The price is right wrote model Cole, alongside a series of emojis that included a baby’s face and a red heart.

When announcing the birth of his Onyx last month, Cannon addressed those tempted to criticize his family, writing, “At this time of celebration and jubilee, I wish to cut out all low vibrational frequencies and rejoice only with the highest class of civilization that is truly aligned with our purpose here in this dimension.”

“We all learn so much from these angels that we call children,” he continued. “I’m learning that it’s not the limited time we have on this planet but it’s the limited amount of love that’s the problem. And I promise to love this little girl with all my heart no matter what. we say. .

“I have given up trying to define myself for the world or society, but instead I do the work to heal and grow into the infinite being that God commanded me to be.

“I hope I can teach Onyx the same thing, not to let others shame her or ridicule her with their outward opinions, because when they do, they are just projecting their own difficult experiences, their pain and their social programming on her spotless beauty.”

Cannon urged his critics to direct their comments at him, rather than Cole and the other women with whom he had — and has — children.

“As we all know, I’m not easily triggered and I’m pretty tough-skinned and I’ve always been an open book, but not everyone in my family has the same level of strength,” said writes Cannon. “So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism onto ME and not onto the loving and precious mothers of my children.

“@MissLanishaCole is one of the most innocent, peaceful, non-confrontational souls I have ever seen, and only deserves to revel in this moment of blissful joy of motherhood. Please give her She is so loving and pure in heart.

“As for me, if you are truly concerned during this time of spiritual warfare, my inner struggles with myself, mental well-being and physical health issues…Just continue to pray for me and my entire family that God grant us peace that surpasses all understanding.”

Cannon is the father of 11-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. He shares son Golden Sagon, 5, and daughter Powerful Queen, 20 months, and newborn son Rise Messiah with Bell. Pregnant De La Rosa welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Cannon in June 2021.

The TV personality and musician also welcomed a son with model Alyssa Scott, 28, in June 2021. Their baby, Zen Cannon, died of brain cancer in December 2021.
