Lily Allen tried on a number of expensive outfits at a Chanel store in New York City on Saturday, but admitted she had no intention of buying them.
The singer, 37, took to Instagram to share selfies with a thong mirror encased in the gorgeous garments while joking that she took advantage of a free water bottle.
She looked stunning wearing a dazzling jumper embellished with colorful sequins, a black hoodie and statement purple sandals.
In her caption, The Fear singer wrote: “I had a free lesson today and tried on some things I didn’t want to buy. I also picked up a free bottle of Evian.’
Lily just finished filming the comedy from Margate.
The series was created by Catastrophe’s Sharon Horgan and is based on the Sky Arts short film Morgana Robinson’s Summer, in which Lily plays a woman who attends her sister’s baby shower in a seaside village.
It comes after her husband David Harbor revealed he fell in love with her on their third date.
The 47-year-old actor – who married the British singer in 2020 – also opened up about how the couple first met on celebrity dating app Raya.
Speaking to GQ Hype about falling in love with Lily, David said: “She claims to have fallen in love with me at first sight – I mean, who wouldn’t? I remember the moment clearly. It was our third date.
“I was just in that phase where I was like, ‘I’m just going to be brutally honest about everything, because why lie? And I told her something about my life, about my faith.
“It would take a truly extraordinary person to accept the things I’ve said. And I remember thinking, wow, that’s someone I want to be with.
David also spoke about the early days of their relationship and how the two met on Raya when he was in London together.
He said: “I was alone in London, doing Black Widow on this app, going on dates and stuff.
“And yes I started texting her, she was in Italy at the time – we met, went on a date at the Wolseley and it was, you know, she’s amazing.”
David and Lily wed in Las Vegas in September 2020, with the ceremony being performed by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
The Stranger Things actor is now stepdad to Lily’s daughters Ethel, 10, and Marnie, 9, who she shares with her ex Sam Cooper.
