They announced their exciting pregnancy news last week.
And Joel Selwood’s wife Brite showed off her baby bump as she arrived at the Brownlow medal count at Melbourne’s Crown Casino on Sunday night.
The special education teacher simply beamed as she posed proudly next to the Geelong Cats star.
Brit announced the couple’s exciting news on her Instagram page last Sunday night.
She shared a photo from a stunning pregnancy shoot, in which the Geelong Cats captain holds up a tiny football shirt that has his player number and ‘dad’ written on the back.
Meanwhile, Britt showed off her tiny baby bump in a summery white dress and beamed as she beamed at the camera.
She said her dreams have come true after years of fertility struggles and that she is thinking of all couples who are going through the same thing.
“Our dreams have come true ✨ Joel and I are grateful to announce the birth of a baby boy,” she wrote.
“We could not make this announcement without recognizing those who are struggling with infertility or loss. I know how my heart would break every time I saw a pregnancy post and my heart really goes out to you if you’re feeling this way right now.
“The last few years have changed me forever. For anyone who just lost hope, I’ve been there thinking of you, and I hope that you get your miracle one day soon.
The AFL golden couple tied the knot during a lavish wedding in January 2020 at a private property outside of Geelong in Victoria on Saturday.
“We had the day of our lives yesterday with all our loved ones,” Ms Davis told The Herald Sun at the time. “It was an incredibly magical day full of love and happiness.”
The glamor couple met through mutual friends in 2015 and announced their engagement in August 2018.
Brit wore a pair of dresses by Elie Saab and Paolo Sebastian, while Selwood wore a suit by Hugo Boss and thanked Laura from Weddings of Desire for her help on her special day.
Before their big day, they said yes before their actual wedding in a tongue-in-cheek ceremony.
With a video shot for a travel agency in Geelong, they gave their guests a glimpse of what to expect that day.
The clip began with Geelong Travel’s Stu Coffield thanking Joel for “letting me be your best man, Captain.”
Coffield then appeared alongside Brit to lead her down the aisle.
Coffield acted as celebrant and led the couple into vows of a different nature.
“Brit, are you taking Joel as your travel partner to fly or cruise, long or short haul, from this day forward? Do you always promise Joel to get the aisle seat?’ he asked.
“I do,” Brit replied.
“Joel, do you promise to take Brit on six trips a year, one bus trip, two trips to Las Vegas and three cruises around Europe?”
Coffield, reportedly a guest at the couple’s real-life wedding, then declared them guests at the Geelong Travel and Cruise World Expo, which took place on February 2.
Brit celebrated a wild hen party with Emma Hawkins, Jordan Ablett and Mardi Dangerfield, who are partners of Selwood’s Geelong team-mates.
