Joe Rogan and Dave Chapelle forced to move for Travis Scott during boxing match

Joe Rogan shared a funny story of how he and Dave Chappelle were forced to move seats at a recent boxing match so Travis Scott could sit in them.

The podcast host sat down with the comedian to watch Canelo Alvarez take on Gennady Golovkin in Las Vegas on September 17.

Alvarez then decisively won the fight, which Rogan called “incredible”, but the night started off hesitantly for him and Chappelle.

He described on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience how the pair had been allocated “incredible” seats near the front, but organizers quickly came to ask the famous duo to release them.

“Dave Chappelle and I were third, which was amazing,” Rogan began.

“We were like, right there, and then this guy came over and said, ‘You have to move. These tickets are not yours.

“And Dave says, ‘I’m Dave Chappelle. I’m not moving anywhere. Literally said like this.

“So the guy comes back and says, ‘These seats are actually for Travis Scott, but we want to put you at ringside. Dave and I looked at each other and were like, ‘Okay!'”

Chappelle and Rogan were then moved to even better seats right in the thick of the action.

“So they go from the third row to the row without,” Rogan explained.

“It’s not even an argument. You’re just fucking there man. We’re sitting like where the officials are sitting. It was amazing.

“They [the fighters] were right there. It was really good and we saw, I think the last six laps like that.

“Something like that, but it was a good fight. It was a really good fight.”

Rogan, a longtime UFC commentator and podcaster began his career as a comedian and also hosted The fear factor on TV.

The controversial podcast host has sparked repeated calls for people to boycott Spotify, where his show is exclusively available after paying $100 million for the rights in 2020.

More recently, calls for a boycott came after Rogan spoke about his support for the Republican Party in the upcoming midterm elections.

He said business owners who have been forced to close during the COVID-19 pandemic should vote for GOP candidates.

“No one alive today has ever experienced a real pandemic, and I hope that now that it’s over people will recognize that serious mistakes were made and not repeat them,” he said. told his guest Aaron Rodgers.

“As for compensation for all those people who have been forced to close their businesses and keep their doors closed and who have lost everything they worked for decades to build, no, they’re just going to be in anger.”

Rodgers asked what Rogan thought these business owners should do and he replied, “vote Republican.”
