Jennifer Garner, 50, says her business has gone from $1 million a year to $100 million a year

Jennifer Garner addressed her nature-based business, Once Upon a Farm.

As co-founder and chief brand officer, she spoke about what made her come early to Once Upon a Farm at Fast Company’s 8th Annual Innovation Festival in New York City on Thursday.

Ben Affleck’s ex also said the company has grown massive: “The business has grown a lot. The last time we were here we were actually making less than $1 million a year and now at the end of this year we’re at $100 million.’

Once Upon a Farm announced it had closed $52 million in Series D funding in March.

Once Upon a Farm is now in over 11,000 retail stores across North America and features a robust direct-to-consumer and e-commerce platform. Once Upon a Farm is expected to double again in 2022 based on broad consumer and market acceptance of its growing product portfolio, which ranges from baby food bites to school snacking for children, according to PR Newswire in March.

She also spoke openly about the need for American baby food to compete with that of Europe.

During the Tiny Tastebuds: Delighting and Sustaining the Next Generation panel, which was also attended by fellow Once Upon a Farm co-founder and CEO, John Foraker, Jennifer explained why she got involved with Once Upon a Farm.

“Once Upon a Farm was such a no-brainer as a working mom. I remember coming home from work, I was filming The Kingdom, I had had my first baby,” she said.

“I remember having fake blood all over me and just standing there crying at the mixer. I was so tired of making food for my baby. And that would have been a no-brainer, game-changer, day-saver,” she added.

Jennifer on the success of Once Upon a Farm: “The business has grown tremendously. In fact, the last time we were here we made less than $1 million a year, and now, at the end of this year, we’re hitting $100 million.’

Jennifer on why American baby food should reach European quality: “Why should European babies get all the good stuff? Our children deserve vegetables; They deserve to have food that isn’t stacked with sugar, they deserve food that isn’t contaminated with plastics and heavy metals.”

Garner showed off her business fashion sense when she stopped by The Fast Company Innovation Festival.

The 50-year-old Adam Project actress opted for an all-black ensemble, consisting of sleek black pants and heels of the same color.

The mother of three was asked to be a guest speaker at the event, which provides a networking space for creative innovators and individuals.

The 13 Going On 30 star opted for a professional look for the day, donning high-waisted black trousers.

The beauty tucked a black turtleneck into the waist of her trousers and rolled up her sleeves as she posed for a brief photo session at the festival.

Jennifer slipped on a pair of black pointed heels to complete her overall ensemble.

She seemed in high spirits as she took the time to attend the networking event with other successful entrepreneurs and celebrities in the Big Apple.

The beauty was later pictured seated for a panel discussion. To complete her look, she wore a pair of gold necklaces and gold hoop earrings to add a pop of color to the monochromatic ensemble.

Her diamond eternity band, worn on her right, sparkled as she sat under a bright light. The ring could possibly have belonged to her current fiancé, John C. Miller. The two dated from 2018 to 2020 and got back together in 2021.

Her brunette hair fell naturally over her shoulders, with side-swept bangs lightly brushing her forehead.

Jennifer attended Thursday’s event to represent her baby food brand, Once Upon A Farm, and is both the company’s co-founder and chief brand officer. The brand’s CEO and co-founder, John Foraker, was also in attendance.

Other celebrities in attendance for the third day of the festival in New York City were Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Jamie Lee Curtis.

According to the event’s official website, the festival is a place where “thousands of makers and innovators from around the world come together” and “extraordinary leaders and makers shaping the future”.
