“I got on the plane and started feeling really weird. When I got off the plane, I had to go to the emergency room.”

The Siren’s acting skills have impressed in film and television for nearly three decades. She is best known for her roles as Jeanine “Stifler’s Mom” Stifler in the American Pie film series and Paulette Bonafonté Parcelle in the Legally Blonde film series.

She won Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for The White Lotus at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday.

“The saddest thing about life is that you only make decisions about yourself,” she remarked.

“If I don’t get great roles, I figure people don’t think I’m capable of it. And then I make the decision that I can’t do it. You must actually have a Mike White (producer who gave her the role of White Lotus) walk in and say, “I think you can do that.”

Adding that she’s now being hunted down for projects, she said, “People I could never get in the door — all of a sudden they’re asking me to be part of their stuff.”
