Holby City star Camilla Arfwedson gives birth!

Holby City star Camilla Arfwedson has given birth to her first child.

The 40-year-old actress shared the happy news on Instagram on Friday that she has given birth to a baby boy named Auro with husband Jack Hawkins.

The Soap Star Who Dr. Zosia March, who played in the medical drama, captioned a picture of her bundle of joy: “3 weeks baby auro!”

Just last month, the star revealed she was pregnant as she showed off her bump as she headed to her baby shower.

She revealed she had just two weeks until her child was born and opened up about how she wanted to keep most of her pregnancy private.

She looked radiant in a flowy blue dress which she paired with comfy trainers while sporting a leopard print headband.

She wrote in the caption: “I always thought pregnancy was an incredibly private journey.

“I’ve resisted sharing mine on social media but in two weeks time until we meet our little boy I thought why not.

“Also some incredibly thoughtful friends decided to throw me a ‘low key’ surprise baby shower that wasn’t low key at all (they’re looking at you @jahjahwalsh @oliwalsh @jasonstraker @jimmyslocum @charlotteelliswatson)

“Simply joyful, emotional and absolutely wonderful in every way. To the celebration of life and all good things!’

In 2019 Camilla quietly married Call The Midwife’s Jack after being an item for three years.

The couple have been keeping their union low-key – apparently tying the knot in an under-the-radar ceremony in October this year.

The couple met in 2016 when Jack, now 36, was killed by Camilla, who is Dr. Zosia March plays, has been “treated”.

She left the show – Dr. March disappeared to the US – but then returned – with a new off-screen husband.

Camilla casually dove into the conversation that she and Jack had tied the knot, telling The Sun: “It’s nice to be back for a few months. I love it on Holby.

“I wanted to try something different. And we got married too. It was a low-key ceremony in London, but it was really beautiful. It was great.’

Jack plays dentist Christopher Dockerill in Call The Midwife and dates Trixie [Helen George] on the series.

Camilla’s Holby character has made a comeback, pregnant – after she was last seen leaving her husband in the UK.

“Viewers don’t know who the father is, but a handsome American doctor also makes an appearance. Everyone thinks it’s their kid,” the actor teased.

The Return of Dr. March came after her previous appearance on the show addressed the character’s struggle with bipolar disorder.

On the show, she became an excessive drinker and took drugs — and the storyline explored the stigma associated with the disease and treatment with lithium. This, in turn, has been praised by charities and mental health organizations.

The actress announced last September that she would reprise the role — albeit only for a limited time as a guest star.

Executive producer Simon Harper said the character is returning due to “popular demand.”
