Former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Stassi Schroeder married her husband, Beau Clark, in 2020. The couple share a daughter named Hartford, who was born in January 2021. On September 15, 2022, Clark took to his Instagram Stories to reveal that he has two new tattoos honoring Schroeder and Hartford. The photo showed that he had the letter ‘s’ and a black circle tattooed on his left ring finger. His other tattoo is the letter “h” on his right ring finger.
In the post’s caption, he explained that the black circle was supposed to represent a black hole.
“[A] Blackhole in case Stassi asks how much I love her #cheesy,” the caption reads.
A Reddit user shared a screenshot of the image on the “Vanderpump Rules” subreddit.
“What do we think of this? 🥴”, read the caption of the Reddit post.
Several Bravo fans took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts on the matter.
“I feel like I would have chosen a black filled heart instead of a birthmark, but it’s sentimental for him, so whatever,” one commenter wrote.
“Not a fan of the black dot, especially since it looks like a mole,” added another.
“The thought behind it is actually really sweet, but the font gives me 2010 hipster,” another person shared.
“I feel bad to say this because I don’t mind him… but Beau has the s***** tattoos of all the men I’ve seen on bravo shows 😂 These tattoos are definitely no exception,” commented one in third Reddit user.
“I hate it. Like, the sentiment is sweet, but that’s the weirdest placement ever and the tattoos give me some ‘girl stick poking herself in high school’ vibes,” shared another.
“I like the idea, but he didn’t make it happen. the stupid font is ruining it, also he must have covered something up with the black hole,” said one social media user.
“This is terrible,” interrupted a seventh person.
A few commentators also pointed to the fact that Schroeder’s ex-boyfriend and former co-star, Jax Taylor, had her name tattooed on his biceps.
“I think Jax’ Stassi tatt showed more dedication 😂,” claimed one commenter.
“I mean, how do you handle Jax? LOL. The placement is horrendous, but at least it’s thoughtful and not something he should ever deal with,” a viewer of “Vanderpump Rules” told me.
According to Page six, Schroeder’s Bravo career ended due to criticism she received “for calling the police about Faith Stowers, the only black cast member to appear on ‘Vanderpump Rules’ in 2018.” On an April 2022 episode of the “Morning Toast” podcast, the former “Vanderpump Rules” star shared that she “probably would have spiraled” after being fired had she not been pregnant with Hartford. She also noted that she was turning her attention to writing her second book, “Off With Her Head.”
“Being pregnant is really what kept me, like I had a purpose – so like writing this book in her nursery while I’m pregnant, imagining what this child will be like, what I want her to know, what I want her to be.” learns like that was so soothing and calming,” Schroeder said.
