Critics have largely dismissed Do not worry Sweetheart, but the film captivated the world with its relentless flow of behind-the-scenes drama. And on Friday, the day of its long-awaited release, news broke of a supposed “screaming match” on set.
vulture reported Friday that the verbal scuffle in question occurred between director Olivia Wilde and actress Florence Pugh in January 2021. It is believed to stem from Wilde’s relationship with his film’s lead, Harry Styles.

“Olivia and Harry would just disappear,” said an anonymous source vulture. Eventually, the tension between Wilde and Pugh culminated in a full-fledged “screaming match”.

But the beef allegedly goes further than that.
Wilde previously claimed she kicked actor Shia LaBeouf out of the film to make sure her lead actress felt “supported” and “safe.” But LaBeouf then pushed back, saying Variety that he had left the film instead.
LaBeouf also sent the outlet a video message showing Wilde asking him to stay in the role. In it she says, “I think that might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo,” which some observers read as an insult to Pugh.

Despite constant bad press due to in-fighting among its cast, don’t worry darlingExecutives at were apparently unhappy with the way Wilde handled promotional duties, vulture reported.
“Olivia is either a mad genius who found a way to raise awareness about the movie in a way that only increases the box office,” a source said, per vulture“or she’s unaware that she’s screwing up her movie.”
