“Celebrity Big Brother”: Is there this star?

The new “Celebrity Big Brother” season starts in mid-November. Sat.1 has not yet revealed which stars are moving into flat share TV. But now there are the first speculations.

Send for nearly ten years

Sat.1 also prominent faces in Germany’s toughest TV-WG. For the first time, however, “Celebrity Big Brother” does not take place in the summer. In 2022, the new season will last in November. It starts in a few weeks. However, the broadcaster has not yet revealed who will move into the container this year.

A month into the next round, speculation is wild: who will take part in the tenth season? Who could follow in the footsteps of stars like Janine Pink or Werner Hansch? “Anyone can speculate on who will be part of ‘Promi Big Brother’ from November 18, but only Big Brother will announce who will be there in time,” broadcaster spokesman Christoph Körfer told “Bild”.

However, he continues: “But to briefly anticipate it: in 2022 there will be a football legend on ‘Celebrity Big Brother'”. As the newspaper now reports, the football legend is said to be Thorsten Legat. However, this is not confirmed.

But it’s not unlikely either. After his career as a professional footballer, Thorsten Legat turned to reality TV. The 53-year-old has already taken part in programs such as “Das Große ProSieben Promiboxen”, “Schlag den Star” or “Das Sommerhaus der Stars”.

In 2016, the athlete also moved to the jungle camp. In the tenth season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” he finished third, narrowly losing in the final to Menderes Bagci and Sophia Vegas. He is always in front of the camera as a “companion” for the RTL format.

But now, six years after his participation in IBES, Thorsten Legat seems to want to do it again. The 53-year-old wouldn’t be the first athlete to move into the TV container. The show was also attended by footballers Mario Basler, David Odonkor and Umut Kekilli, boxers Manuel Charr, tennis professionals Daniel Köllerer and Claudia Kohde-Kilsch, wrestler Frank Stäbler, European athletics champion Pascal Behrenbruch and journalist sportsman Werner Hansch.
