Cara Delevingne’s sister Chloe looked strained after a visit to the ailing supermodel’s home amid growing concerns about her erratic behavior.
Chloe, 37, who lives in Oxfordshire, was spotted leaving Cara’s home in Studio City, Los Angeles on Saturday after claiming the family were planning a procedure for her younger sister.
Cara’s friends and family are said to have become “concerned” about her after a series of erratic public appearances in recent weeks.
Chloe looked deep in thought as she left her sister’s house, her brunette hair pulled back in a ponytail as she clutched her shoulder.
Going makeup-free, she kept a strained expression as she got into her car and drove away.
Cara’s loved ones have reportedly considered intervention, and Chloe’s visit could be another sign that the model’s friends and family are ready to offer support.
The model was spotted with her feet dangling out of a car window as a driver took her to LA’s Van Nuys private airport to board a private jet.
Wearing a Britney Spears t-shirt, she made her way to the plane, but got off 45 minutes later and was seen pacing, bending over and appearing “nervous,” according to viewers.
“She was chain smoking and talking heatedly on her cell phone, which she eventually dropped on the pavement,” a witness told the Mail on Sunday.
Earlier this month, Cara was spotted outside an LA sex shop smoking an unknown substance from a pipe and dripping liquid from a bottle into her mouth.
A family friend said: “It’s all very worrying. Cara has been open about her mental health issues in the past.
“She comes from a very good, close family and of course they will take care of her and do everything they can to help her.
In April, her bank, HSBC, filed charges against her company, Cara & Co, despite having assets of £41.4million.
It has been speculated that the measure was taken to protect the interests of their bankers in case their firm takes a sudden turn.
The news comes as Cara admitted she was surprised she turned 30 after celebrating her birthday in Ibiza last month.
“Honestly, I didn’t think I’d be alive at this age,” the model admitted to Stylist, “I couldn’t wait to be 30 because 20’s are pretty damn tough.
“You’re still basically a teenager — but you’re supposed to grow up and everyone tells you this is the time of your life.”
