Beloved family member of DWTS Cast Member laid to rest

A “Dancing With the Stars” alum shared some news with fans on September 18, 2022.

In an Instagram caption, Candace Cameron Bure revealed that she and her family had celebrated her grandmother, Jeanne Bausmith, who passed away in November 2021 at the age of 98. The family had gathered when Bausmith was buried with her husband.

“Today was a beautiful family day to honor and celebrate the life of my grandmother Jeanne. We’re celebrating because she’s finally with Pop Pop, her 68-year-old husband, and they’re worshiping God in heaven together. Praise the Lord! Five children, 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was cheerful and fun until the end! 98 years. What a legacy she left behind,’ said Bure.

The ‘Fuller House’ star shared a photo of herself with her husband and their two sons, Maksim and Lev. All four of them smiled in the photo as they got together for this undoubtedly emotional day.

Here’s what you need to know:

Shortly after Bure shared her post sharing her grandmother’s funeral, several people took to the comments section to offer their thoughts and prayers to the actress.

“Praise God for an amazing life she’s had! I’m sorry for your loss, but thankful she knew the Lord,” one person wrote.

“My deepest condolences! May her memory be eternal! I send love and prayers to you and your family,” another added.

“She has had a wonderful life. My prayers with your family,” commented a third Instagram user.

“I’m sorry for your loss, but what a happy reunion for her in heaven,” said a fourth person.

Bure’s mother, Barbara Cameron, shared a photo of the headstone made for her parents.

“Today was the day we laid our mother and father at their resting place Conejo Mountain in Funeral Home. One of the nicest funeral homes here in Camarillo. We celebrated Mom’s life with an original song sung by our Kenzie Mae. We shared some wonderful memories of the caring, loving, kind, adventurous, funny, strong, spirited woman that she was. We have put their ashes together and together they will be forever and ever,” Cameron wrote.

“Thank you to those who joined us in celebrating a beautiful woman we called Mom,” she added.

The stone has the family name “Bausmith” at the top and a picture of Jeanne and her husband Frank in the middle. Bure’s grandfather, fondly called “Pop Pop,” served in the military and died in 2018, according to the family’s headstone.

‘Jesus said, ‘I am the way truth and life come to no one’s father except through me.’ Both mom and dad received Jesus as their Savior and were baptized. Jesus is our hope, and what a gift from our Father that we will see them again one day and all be together forever. Thank you Jesus,” Cameron’s caption continued.

“Have a nice day mom,” Bure commented, leaving behind two red heart emoji.
