Andy Cohen has a ‘feeling’ about the future of ‘Real Housewives’ star

Andy Cohen weighs in on Jen Shah’s future in ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’.

The reality star pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering in July 2022, just days before her fraud trial was due to begin. Her sentencing — which could put her behind bars for up to 30 years — has been delayed a number of times, but was finally set for December 15, 2022, according to E! News.

While it’s not known exactly what Shah’s sentence will be — or whether she’ll go to jail — Cohen considers what he thinks will happen in the coming weeks.

Here’s what you need to know:

In an interview with Us Weekly, Cohen explained that he doesn’t think Shah will continue with the show.

“She’s being sentenced on December 15, so I don’t know what to say to people who want her on the show,” he told the outlet. “I hope she doesn’t get any jail time and she can come back like this… but I have a feeling she won’t be available to be on the show,” he added.

Cohen went on to say that the possible 30-year prison sentence Shah faces is “a long time.” And for those who have said they want to see Shah continue in Season 4, he admits it’s not up to him. “Talk to the judge,” Cohen said.

This isn’t the first time Cohen has talked about Shah’s RHOSLC future, either. At BravoCon 2022, Cohen appeared to make it clear that Shah was done with Bravo because of what happened in her trial.

“We packed once [and] she pleaded guilty, I think unfortunately that was kind of the end of, you know, the engagement there,” he said at the “Ask Andy” panel that took place on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022. “But I hope that go with her sit and talk to her on camera at some point because I have a lot of questions for her,” he added.

Interestingly, something else happened at BravoCon 2022 that led some fans to believe that Shah may not actually be going to jail. Shah showed up at the convention — uninvited — and actually chatted with “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge.

In an interview with Access Hollywood’s ‘Housewives Nightcap’, The judge said Shah came to her hotel room with some news.

“It was a bit crazy. She said she’s not going to jail and that’s all good,” Judge said. Judge went on to say she believes Shah tried to “crash” the “Watch What Happens Live” taping because she wanted to share that she’s “going nowhere”.

Meanwhile, Shah had a different take on what was happening, tweet that she was “paid for Bravocon.” Shah has not publicly commented on the case or her impending sentencing.

Shah has been in the RHOSLC since the first season.
