Former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas gave fans a glimpse of his massive Cheshire mansion on Friday as he continued to refurbish the property.
The 34-year-old actor and his wife Caroline documented the transformation of their family home on their own Instagram account.
The couple have been busy tearing down walls on the property, which was done after Adam’s once-popular restaurant, The Spinn, closed.
Alongside a photo of the dining room, Caroline wrote: “I feel like we don’t have nice things to post! We’re in this weird phase where it’s one step forward and two back!
“Plaster dust EVERYWHERE!!! But all I ever think about is if Christmas… and where our tree will go!!
“Does nobody else do that!? As you all know, I LOVE Christmas so I’m just looking forward to it! Small steps every day to make our house a home.”
In other photos shared to her Stories, Caroline showed a space in the kitchen where the oven used to be and a black and white image of the new wallpaper.
Meanwhile, Adam elaborated on his account when he joked that because of the mansion’s many windows, he “would have to sell the house to be able to afford a window cleaner.”
It comes after Adam announced the shock closure of his restaurant, The Spinn, in Gatley, Manchester.
Following reports that the once-popular venue had been boarded up, the actor confirmed the news to MEN and thanked all of his customers.
Adam started the company with his business partner Scott Graham back in 2019, followed by a bar and burger sauce company.
He said: “Unfortunately we have decided to close The Spinn. We did what we had to do with The Spinn and we learned so much building our first project and more importantly we had a blast.
“But after three years we felt it was time to move on. We now focus on the next chapter of The Spinn… The Spinn off [bar] and Oh My Glaze [burger sauce company]’.
He added, “Thank you again to everyone who has supported and continues to support us along this journey and to all of our employees who we will continue to take with us on this journey.”
Speaking about the company in 2019, Adam told I Love Manchester: “We have [himself and pal Scott] We’ve wanted to do that for years, we talked about opening our own booth at school.”
