2022 Attitude Awards WINNER: Ellie Goulding and Mel C scoop gongs at star-studded ceremony

Ellie Goulding led the stars and scooped up awards at the 2022 Attitude Awards, held at the Camden Roundhouse in London on Wednesday night.

The 36-year-old singer won the Ally Award that night, while Mel C and Strictly’s John Whaite and Johannes Radebe were also honored.

The Attitude Awards showcase the best in the global LGBTQ community and provide a platform for role models while supporting the Attitude Magazine Foundation, which raises money for LGBT causes.

Spice Girls legend Melanie C received the Honorary Gay Award presented by Rylan, while John Whaite and Johannes Radebe received the Gamechanger Award for their same-sex pairing on Strictly Come Dancing last year and were presented with the gong by H von Steps.

The Icon Award went to Skin, presented by Dame Kelly Holmes, while the Broadcast Award went to Robert Rinder, presented by Owain Wyn Evans.

Cat Burns won the Music Award, presented by Lady Phyll, while the Television Award went to the Netflix series Heartstopper, presented by Rosie Jones.

The Community Award was won by Sink The Pink and presented by Drag Queen Bimini, while the Inspiration Award went to The Vivienne, presented by Jayde Adams.

Layton Williams was the proud recipient of the Culture Award presented by AJ Odudu while Man of the Year went to Josh Cavallo presented by Amanda Davies

The evening’s entertainment was provided by nominee Ellie Goulding, who gave an exclusive first look at her latest single, Let It Die.

She was also joined by Melanie Chisholm, who stormed onto the stage in a Jaguar Ftype 75 to perform a plethora of hits including Who Do You Think You Are? and I turn to you
